The event, part of the broader historical-cultural project "Military and Civilian Life in the Italian Risorgimento," commemorates the presence of General Giuseppe Garibaldi and the volunteers from various Italian territories who, in 1859, decided to support the cause of liberation from foreign occupation, sparking the Second Italian War of Independence.

The historical reenactment, as in the previous edition, will essentially involve two municipalities, with two simulated wartime battles: Saturday, October 4th in Crescentino, and Sunday, October 5th in Verrua Savoia.

With the extraordinary participation of the Fanfara Bersaglieri Nino Tramonti Mario Crosta, who will perform at 9:00 PM at the Angelini Theater in Crescentino.
