The BICKENBACH TATTOO is an impressive music show that presents music groups from home and abroad in unique formations and with lots of movement. The focus is on marching bands, pipes and drums bands and other performances that have been worked on over months of preparation. The event combines sophisticated entertainment with old traditions and has been taking place since 2006, initially on the Jagdschlossplatz in Bickenbach and since 2019 in the Weststadthalle Bensheim.

The name "Tattoo" originally comes from the Dutch and refers to the order to close the beer taps to call the soldiers back to their quarters - a signal that was previously played by drummers and later by bagpipers.

There is an extensive supporting program with around 250 participants and 60 helpers.
Spectators can look forward to a unique show and impressive musical performances, with food and drinks provided.
