The program has been presented for the evening that will see the Olympic torch of the Milan–Cortina Games arrive in the city. After entering the ice rink, the torch will travel a couple of kilometers through the city center, ending at the Gardens, where the cauldron will be lit. Among those who will carry the torch are Andrea Meneghin, Toto Bulgheroni, and Massimiliano Allegri.

The torch will leave the Acinque Ice Arena at around 6:40 p.m. and pass through Viale Aguggiari, Piazza Beccaria, Corso Matteotti, Piazza San Vittore, Via Marconi, Via Aldo Moro, Via Medaglie d’Oro, Via Manzoni, Via Volta, Piazza Monte Grappa, and Via Sacco, before entering the Giardini Estensi for the lighting of the Olympic Cauldron and the final celebration. The total route will be about two kilometers.
